The Flyers have been so badly outplayed, yet they're about 8 inches from being up 2-1 in the series. That's about how much Brayden Schenn's redirect missed in OT in game 3.

Let say first that I really enjoyed all of the pics....little Lavvy in the super market is a hoot.

That said, this team has come out flat, behind the play to start games all year long. They have been crushed in the 2nd period (after he has the chance to address in detail what happened in the 1st period) and he has shredded his lines, the ones that got the Flyers to the second round. Playing with JAM should be the final touch on playing a system, starting the game with purpose, supporting the puck in all zones.

Yes, the players are to blame for their individual shortcomings in effort and decision making, but the coach is to blame for the team's lack of preparation and lack of effective response in approach in forecheck and back checking...that is the coaches.

Where's the 'jam' as Peter Laviolette likes to say? The Flyers are being pushed around in all three zones. They're light on the puck. Their forecheck isn't very good. The Devils get the puck and cycle the hell out of it, literally getting the Flyers to run around in their own zone.

No.

Not literally.
